Stay in our rustic cottage and attend a woodturning course suited to your skill level and interest. The cottage is right next to Soren and his family and is located in beautiful Christchurch, New Zealand just down from New Brighton beach with lovely beach walks and a small township just five minutes walk away from the house. The fee will cover tutoring by Soren, accommodation, 3 meals a day including Soren's famous Swedish Meatballs and refreshments. Partners are more than welcome.
The courses are all a one on one situation with Soren with all tools, lathes and wood supplied. The range of skills that can be covered include Safety, Spindle Turning, Bowl Turning, Hollow Turning, Design, Finishing, Basic Tool Making, Sales and Marketing. Courses can be at a basic, intermediate or advanced level.
